ESQ takes place in New York City and focuses on the most exclusive Gentleman's club imaginable, which caters to an elite clientele only from all over the world. This clientele is the epitome of Jeffery Epstein's black book. The five primary characters work at the club and bring from their pasts pain, skeletons and personal tragedies that are relatable and universally transferable. One day a young and beautiful young woman from Yemen walks in and auditions in a black Burqa. Her presence on the dance floor is haunting...she is immediately hired. Her employment opens a window to a world of hypocrisies whose tentacles stretch from deep in the bible-belt, throughout America to the sex trafficking trade in Yemen and to cartel dealings in Mexico. Each episode reveals an exciting and dramatic look into these worlds and uniquely brings them together. Ten episode first season.
