There are lots of scenes of teachers abusing the teenage students (head shaving, solitary confinement, emotional abuse) which can be very intense.

Some characters see disturbing visions which the other characters don't, which may be frightening to watch, especially for anyone who experiences hallucinations/psychosis themselves.
