Turkish novelist Kemal Tahir's "The Tired Warrior" tells the story of Sergeant Cemil who fought for the Turkish Independence War after the Decline of Ottoman Empire. The story revolves around the social life in the 1920's Turkish society, where the people is tired of never-ending wars and economic difficulties.
