Season 2 Overall: Frequent and multiple themes of sex with applied sexual humour. He also appears in dreams to give his daughter advice. Devi's acceptance of his death plays a major role in the story. One character hits another lightly during an argument; he threatens to sue. Someone is hit by a car and injured (no blood); they wear a cast for several episodes. A character has a panic attack.

Season 3 contains more language than previous seasons with constant uses of '"bitch" and "fuck" throughout the episodes.

References to wanting to become a movie star with a heroin addiction and tons of extreme drug references throughout Season 2.

At the beginning of season 1, the main character prays that she will get invited to a party with 'alcohol and hard drugs'

Teens drink at parties, in one scene scheming to provide alcohol for a school group. At a party, Devi drinks to the point of drunkenness and winds up injured after making a fool of herself. In one scene, Devi urges her therapist to prescribe her drugs like Paxil and Klonopin. A few characters mention weed.

Paxton gets hit by a car dramatically.

Several characters make risky decisions as they sneak out of their house to go to some sketchy area and to get a tattoo with no permission illegally.

A character in season 2 deals with an eating disorder. Much discussion and rumors surround this topic.
