One of the Boys

Based on the book My Brother Elvis: The Final Years by David E. Stanley, One of The Boys chronicles David's life as a sixteen year old being pulled out of high school by his stepbrother Elvis Presley and taken on the road by him in his last years from 1972 to 1977 to act as one of his bodyguards and personal aides. At sixteen David stood 6 foot 2 and was over 200 pounds and stayed by Elvis' side through the highs to his tragic death. It is at essence the quintessential American tragedy a world of drugs, infidelity, violence, craziness and addiction that shows David growing up in Graceland and going on tour with one of the greatest icons in the history of American music.
