How did the universe begin? How did life start? How did complex living things arise? "Life and the Universe: How Did It All Begin?" is a 13-episode television series that explores these questions, which have been among the most asked and contemplated in history. Together we will examine the origin of the universe, the origin of life, the origin of biological information, the origin of complex life, the challenge proposed to Darwinian theory by the "Cambrian Explosion," new evidence about the limitations of natural selection, C.S. Lewis' insights on intelligent design, and the case for human dignity. These topics will be presented, analyzed, and answers proposed by six of the world's most renowned thought leaders in science, mathematics, history and philosophy: Oxford University's Professor John Lennox, as well as scientists Douglas Axe and Paul Nelson, Harvard mathematics PhD Vern Poythress, physician and ethicist Megan Best, and Cambridge PhD philosopher of science and historian Stephen Meyer.
