The Sykes Method

Martin Sykes is a half-American expat surfer, Jiu Jitsu fighter, naturalist and ex-journalist working for a global security firm in Hong Kong. The year is 2018, in the halcyon era between the Yellow Umbrella / Occupy Hong Kong upheaval of 2014, and the run up to the street battles and protests that have culminated in today's crackdowns. This is Hong Kong before the winter of surveillance and mainland domination -- and a post-colonial and personal reckoning for Sykes.
