Peter Steen reads aloud Alexander Neverov's children's book "Tashkent - the Promised Land", which takes place in the Soviet Union shortly after the revolution. Main character is 12-year-old Mischka, who together with a friend sets off on the 16,000-kilometer journey from Busuluk to Tashkent to provide bread and grain for their starving families.
