Years ago, JIBS McCAFFREY wrote and released a song based on personal tragedy that inadvertently became a chart topping hit and propelled him from the back rooms of Austin to the national stage. But thanks to a cocktail of his own vices, personal tragedy, and failed relationships, his fall was just as fast, sending him down a road of self-loathing, and booze-induced womanizing in the Hollywood Hills -- surviving off of mailbox money and his fading good looks - ...Until a distressing call from an old friend lures him back to where it all began: Austin, Texas, a place he vowed he'd never return to -- unwilling to face the reality of his failures, those he hurt, the ghost of his former self, and a world that has left him long behind.
