The Gray is set in Philiadelphia. Lottie and Ronae who are childhood friends who visit each at least once a year. Lottie is from Georgia and is visiting Ronae in Philadelphia. But just as Lottie is preparing to return home, Lottie receives some unexpected news that causes her to delay her return.
