A Sinful Story (2022)

The story starts in a deserted place. In the wee hours of morning, a mysteriously parked car grabs our attention. On a closer look, we see a dead girl's body inside the car. A Priest walks down the muddy path with a lantern in hand and an umbrella. He peeps at the car and walks away. Meanwhile, in a police station, a glutton of a police officer is seen jotting down a GD. He seems to be seriously writing a detailed report with occasional advice and sympathy towards the man who has come to file the report. An old man is seen crying unperturbed sitting in front of the police inspector. What happens next forms the crux of the story. 'A Sinful Story' is India's first silent mini-series and has been divided into three segments - Dharma, Kartavya and Karma. In the climax, we realize there's a connection between the three segments and it leaves the audience gaping and their imagination running wild.
