Die Waffen-SS (1998)

"Our honor means loyalty" - with this slogan the soldiers of the Waffen-SS go to war in 1939. They think of themselves as more than just soldiers. They are warriors, self-proclaimed elite, bearers of the National Socialist concept of race. Heinrich Himmler stylizes his SS as an aristocratic religious order. At the Wewelsburg near Paderborn, he himself plays the master of ceremonies of this anti-Christian and anti-Semitic order, whose armed arm the Waffen-SS is supposed to carry out the reorganization of Europe in the spirit of Hitler.
