Sophia Reid-Gantzert

Sophia recently wrapped her first feature film, 8-Bit Christmas, in which she stars opposite Neil Patrick Harris. She is also the lead in a new 10 part Netflix series which will debut in the fall of 2021. Sophia is a recurring guest star as Karen Brewer in both seasons of the Netflix hit series The Baby-Sitters Club. Her work has been acknowledged with two Joey Awards, including best supporting actor for The Baby-Sitters Club and a best young actor nomination for her role in Hearts and Minds. In addition to her acting career, Sophia is a talented ballerina. She has won gold medals at international ballet competitions in the USA, Austria, Canada and the UK for her classical ballet solos. In 2018, she received a full scholarship to train at a prestigious London Ballet academy. In 2019 she became one of the youngest dancers ever to be accepted to the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet summer program. She trains with the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates program in London where she lives. She was also honored to be asked to perform for members of the House of Lords, dancing alongside English National Ballet's soloist, Julia Conway.
