Serenay Yilmaz

After graduating from Met film school in 2016, Serenay developed a keen interest for documentary style filmmaking and fictional character development. Her projects stems from a passion for 'truth', for unapologetically authentic stories and legacies. Not only does this apply to her vision of documentaries but also within the authenticity of character journeys within fictional works she has written. Furthermore, her style uses the camera as a key witness, to always internalise how the viewer will observe the story and observe the frame within which the story is told.
