Stephen Sawchuk

Stephen Sawchuk is a Vancouver-based award-winning writer/director/producer of scripted, unscripted, web-based and commercial content. He was the Series Producer on the fifth season of 'Love it or List it Vancouver' (26 x 1 hour episodes), and prior to that he worked as the Line Producer on seasons 3 & 4 as well as the spin-off series 'Love it or List it Vacation Homes'. In total, he has produced 75 x 1 hour episodes of the hit series, and garnered two Leo Award Nominations for his work on the show in both 2018 & 2019. He also Series Produced and Co-Directed the 4-part documentary series 'Jillian and Justin', which proved to be a ratings hit and an audience favorite amongst viewers. Other select unscripted credits include 'Mark Burnett's Mind Control', 'Anna & Kristina', 'The Bachelor Canada', 'Death Doula', 'Relatively Nat & Liv' and 'Cameron's House Rules' amongst many others. Stephen wrote, directed, produced and edited his first short film, 'FWD', an award-winning horror/comedy that had an incredibly successful festival run, screening in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Toronto, Vancouver, Oregon and was selected for the NSI's Online Short Film Festival. As an avid lover of all things horror/thriller, he also Produced the award-winning short thriller 'The Wall' (directed by Daniel Baker) and Production Managed the feature-length horror/comedy 'Peelers' (directed by Seve Schelenz). Stephen recently finished writing the screenplay for next two short films, and is currently working on his first feature-length script. Stephen is currently Co-Producing 'Wedding Cake Dreams', a Lifetime TV Movie of the Week
