Jonathon Schermerhorn

Jonathon is a filmmaker from Providence, Rhode Island. He grew up in a dark section of South Providence and joined the US Army, for the option to go to college. Jonathon went to New England Institute of Technology, to learn production skills, at the age of 33. From there, he attained an internship on Disney's "Underdog (2006)," learning film-making techniques from such masters as Phillip Patterson (G.I JOE: Retaliation/ Crocodile Dundee), Hoyt Yeatman (The Abyss/ Close Encounters of the Third kind), and David Eggby (Mad Max) and Producer, Donna Bloom (Brotherhood/Rome). He has 16 years of production experience, on the ground, in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and Boston.
