Biography

At 28 he graduated from Warwick University with an honours degree in history, prior to which he wrote and directed a winning film for The Guardian and HTV's David Harlech Democracy Prizecompetiton. His film The Isle of Gorf was later broadcast on Channel 4. His feature film experience started in 1987 when he was a runner on Mike Figgis's film Stormy Monday. In 1988 he was a founding partner of Jean -Hicks Associates, a film and video production company. He directed On Air filmed in 4 languages which was then used by Kodak -Eastman as a showreel for the use of 35mm film for corporate work. He is also an executive of Fighting Films Ltd and Adventurous Television Ltd.
