Sarai Betsabe Borrego (born April 21, 1992) known as Betsy Borrego is an Afro-Latina actress and writer. Borrego was born in Ciudad Acuña located in the Mexican state of Coahuila and moved to the United States of America when she was two years old with her mother, Abigail Cruz. Borrego made her stage debut at the early age of 9. in the Musical Annie as the lead, Annie, and went on to be seen in several other plays such and Into the Woods, Chicago, Smokey Joes, Sister Act...just to name a few. In 2006 Betsy moved to the city of New Orleans where she went on the further her career in theater. Betsy is known for originating the character of Tess Delirio in Mark Medoff's "Parsifal Worthy". She made her TV in debt in 2019 in Marvel's Cloak and Dagger, and her screen debt in 2020 in The Lovebirds as Reya.
