Melvin Gregg is a producer, actor and social influencer who came to prominence with the social platform VINE. Best known for curating comedic content around pop culture, Gregg amassed a following over 7 million in just three years.
Gregg's transition from Vine to television and film star is a journey of absolute resilience. Following Vine's decline in 2015, Gregg transitioned from the digital world into film and TV and most recently captured the hearts of audiences in Netflix's critically acclaimed series "American Vandal." Highlighted on TV Guide's Freshmen 15 list, and breakout star of season "American Vandal," Gregg starred as basketball hero DeMarcus Tillman, "Mr. Untouchable" because of his impeccable skills and value to the sports-obsessed institution. Through the nuanced role, Gregg's character peels back implications of the layers of socio economic and racial bias and the student athletes are treated in a sports-driven school. Television roles also includes Hulu's "Freakish," and Lifetime's "Unreal." Film credits include The Land which shares their journey of four teenage friends that break the law to become leaders in the neighborhood. The film premiered in Sundance in 2015 and was acquired by IFC for distribution in 2016.
