Something of the Night (2018)

Dimitri, a failed writer, is invited by Tiresias, a successful writer, to a "writer's group" to spur him on with his long rambling novel. Unbeknown to Dimitri, his friend has dark motives for offering the invite. Dimitri soon learns that success may come with a far higher price than merely wallowing in the realm of the unpublished.
