The Spirit of Mikvah (2015)

Religious Jewish women open up their hearts to convey their experience of Mikvah and the cycle of family purity, which although a very private aspect of Judaism is more fundamental to a Jewish community than a synagogue. . Mikvah is a ritual immersion in a pool of natural and marks the end of the period in the cycle of family purity in which a married couple may not touch but are encouraged to talk to each other. The cycle is intended to increase desire and keep a marriage fresh.
