A look inside the forgotten and abandoned homes of Brisbane 'Abandoned Brisbane (Urban Exploration)' is a facebook page dedicated to uncovering and documenting the hundreds of empty properties around Brisbane's inner city and suburbs. Over the course of a few months, we followed AB into some of her old haunts as well as a few new ones. Her story is fascinating and the backdrop of Brisbane's derelict and forgotten homes is breathtaking and mysterious. Why are these houses empty? Who lived there? Often viewed as trespassing and dangerous, the practitioners of urbex risk their lives in many cases in pursuit of their passion: to find the ultimate untouched and inaccessible spots.
