From his breakthrough in 2006 until his end to his career in December 2018, Petter Northug Jr. has always been one of the best cross-country skiers in the world. His career has been a journey in the most spectacular achievements combined with big downs. Thanks to him, the Norwegian people's view on their national sport has been changed, and their view on what a modern cross country skier should be has been redefined. But despite all the triumphs, his career has more than anything else been a long and intense journey in a constant pursuit of revolt.
