Femijet E Diktatures: Children of the Dictatorship

The Documentary "Children of the Dictatorship" - a production of Institute for Democracy, Media and Culture (IDMC) in collaboration with the Film Department/University of Arts, - directed by Besnik Bisha, is centered on four characters of various ages that were born and passed their childhood in prisons or internment areas. These individuals are from different generations and bring to the Albanian and foreign audience an autobiographical approach to the system. "Children of the Dictatorship" aims at raising the awareness of especially the younger generation on the life of the individual, when often even newborns were punished according to the law of the time as "enemies of the people".
