The Last Ride (2017)

A man from the Dominican Republic moves to the United States to create a better life for his daughter. After working as a custodian for some time, he writes her to move in with him. She moves in with him and applies to an American university. During the application process, she is questioned if her father is a documented United States citizen. Her father advises her to be honest and do whatever she needs to do to get herself ahead unveiling that he is undocumented. She then gets accepted to the university, but due to the questioning from the application process, a deportation order is sent out for her father. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement takes her father from his home in front of her leaving her alone.
