A silent film homage to the Coronet Theater in London (UK), which was recently demolished after 147 years of history. The story follows Marie Henderson, the Victorian actress who ran the Coronet at its peak in the late 19th century. The film shows the present day where Marie's ghost haunts a bewildered foreman and his workers whilst they try to move her portrait. She also clashes with a young Charlie Chaplin, who is on a picnic with his dog. As the workers get spooked by Marie's ghost, chaos ensues for all involved. It is said that Chaplin was born in the area near the Coronet Theater (in 1889) and as a child remembers seeing his mother perform on the Coronet stage.
