Calzones Rotos (2018)

Only women live in the hacienda house: Matilde, the matriarch, her three unmarried daughters and the youngest, an adopted one. Matilde is dying, that's why her two grandchildren come to the house, one of them with his American wife. In her posthumous confession to the village priest, she claims to have murdered her husband, 40 years earlier, and "buried" him in a chest in the garage, a chest that was already occupied by the body of a man, unknown to her. They are just a couple of secrets that will coexist in the house and that will come to light in this brief but intense family reunion.
