Short Circuit" depicts a one-day session of speed-dating, a rarely portrayed way of connecting singles with potential partners. Following Anica, a participant of this event, allows us a discreet look into the intriguing, sometimes awkward, but always human interactions associated with this process. It takes us to a potential essence, or rather the shortcomings of social roles in contact (or conflict) with an impersonal natural world, which shapes our mating urges. This is the first Croatian film about speed-dating.
