On the Back of Whales (2014)

This film is about the positive and negative effects of marine ecotourism; it evaluates ecotourism through an investigation of whale watching in Kaikoura, New Zealand. It searches for the ways to balance the needs of animals and the needs of business, and shows the importance of whales to the local indigenous culture.
