Only the best is a documentary about four different characters aiming the relentless pursuit of perfection. Two dog breeder, two gardener of tomatos, one ballerina and one quality assurance manager give the audience an idea of their personal effort to optimize. The quality manager steadily improves the work flow in his firm up to perfection. The ballerina fights with serious discipline against her exhausted and natural aging body. The both gardeners have to struggle with business competition and continuously improve their efficiency. The both dog breeder want to breed the perfect dalmatian with innovative blood tests and audiometry. The director, Kim Muenster, documents the today society bringing anything to perfection and choosing only the very best.
