The brother-sister duo Carl and Sandy have been at the news reporting business for years. After a short break from their show, however, their director has found out that bad ratings has put the fate of future newscasts at risk. Facing cancellation and a desire to move on in life, the three decide to band together to produce one final episode. As time goes on, they discover a deep conspiracy to end their show... five years in the making!
