IN THIS FILM Westchester's immigrant subculture is given faces and voices, and explained by the migrants themselves. Young men and women from Ecuador, Columbia, Mexico, Guatemala. The nannies, day laborers, landscapers, housekeepers-legal and illegal-all servicing the wealth in New York suburbia. Why they are here, what they hope for in this country, how they live, and what their lives are like in Anglo society, are issues this film deals with.
