The Brave Unseen (2012)

Grace (a rookie cop) falls in love with Emma (a determined social worker) after the two women start working together on a case that would see a homophobic rapist be put behind bars. The criminal soon however takes revenge on the two women by attacking Emma in an effort to punish both women for being homosexual and for their respective involvement in his case. Grace realizes that she will have to step up and face her fears if she wants to see justice done. Throughout this journey she learns to become confidant, not only in her sexuality, but also as a woman in a man's world.
