Pilates-4-Pain Management is geared for the individual who experiences some mild discomfort with everyday living, especially while traveling. The exercises contained in this DVD are based on the teachings of Joseph H. Pilates, though may be modified to create ease of movement, as well as to utilize props for additional benefit. Pilates is a form of mind-body exercise that focuses on core strength and stability, while trying to lengthen and strengthen the muscles. The breath pattern helps to facilitate ease of movement and ultimately the participant should feel longer and leaner as a result of improving posture. One doesn't need a lot of space to perform these exercises, so the intent is to allow the individual the capacity to use this DVD with them when traveling.
