Prima (2012)

A young famous Brazilian advertising man Andre sets off to the Portuguese countryside in search of his roots. In a remote village he finds the last remaining member of his family, a 68-year old village woman oblivious to modern life beyond her land. Prima is the story of two members of a family long separated by time and geography, juxtaposing Old Europe with New Brazil. Over the course of a few days they reveal intimate and unpredicted stories about their lives and discover a surprising connection that brings together their polarizing worlds.
