Startled (2012)

An Artist Mother of two teenage boys, places cameras in her house for an Art project. Strange and odd events punctuate a sensitive and honest portrayal of a family. This backdrop of deeply frank and disturbing relationships serves to validate her obsessive behavior. The boys attempt to continue to love and respect their Mother by conceding to be filmed until the fine balance tips as she pushes them over the edge. Her dangerous world of fiction has become their reality.
