The Still (2004)

October 21st, 1921, Bear Wallow Mountain, Virginia, is a time and place that has little historical relevance for most, but for the descendents of Appalachian moonshiner James Albert Crockett, it was a moment that changed the course of his family forever. 'The Still', directed and produced by Jim Crockett's great grandson, investigates the events surrounding the patriarch's murder and his family's revealing attempts to understand and reinterpret its own past.
