Sing Sing Sing! (2011)

A look at an extraordinary public school jazz ensemble from interviews and performances of 23 high school students. World-renown trumpeter Chris Botti adds his views on the importance of young students learning music, the life experiences derived from music education and the understanding and value of performing 'The Great American Songbook'. Students discuss the joy of music, the commitment to become competent musicians, the dedication each feels as a member of the band, and insight into the power of music education to enrich their personal and academic lives.
