A short documentary following the characters of a small California Gold country town after the discovery of a cache of unexplained artifacts on the banks of the American River. A local entrepreneur tackles the mystery of the artifacts source, while the man who found them begins to question whether this was the discovery of a lifetime or an unfortunate turn of events.
