A documentary celebrating John Rice Irwin and his life's commitment to the preservation of Appalachian folkways. "Keeper of the Folkways" highlights the story of the Museum of Appalachia and the dedication of it's founder, friends and family to keep Appalachian history alive; so that future generations may understand the importance of this region, this heritage and it's people.
