Ibyeol (2009)

You-jin and Gyeong-min split up. It's uncertain if the couple's break-up is based on insecurities or their different viewpoints, as You-jin is gradually consumed by a religious cult. Time passes and You-jin visits Gyeong-min again. After a momentary internal conflict, Gyeong-min opens the door but You-jin is nowhere in sight. She sneaks into Gyeong-min's place upon seeing him leave. You-jin's return marks a confrontation with a familiar space and reopens a mutual past with her ex. Unlike her immediate connection with the space, You-jin's face-to-face encounter with Gyeong-min reasserts their incompatibility; he doubts her dissociation from the sect while she is vexed by his lack of faith. No longer merely about distrust or varying perspectives, they appear destined to separate and bid farewell for good.
