Une péniche nommée 'Réalité' (1985)

After the accidental death of her waterman husband, Jeanne finds herself alone with her two children. Who will steer the barge now? And why not her after all? That would be better than selling off the boat. But there are the kids. To solve the problem, Jeanne decides to partner with another woman, Mary. On the other hand, she takes part with her friend Pierrot in the creation of a co-operative. The trouble is that inland navigation is a world made by and for males. In these conditions, Jeanne and Mary will have to fight for their place.
