Anka talks about his first childhood crush leading to skits about young love by Off-Broadway group The Premise Players. Barrie Chase portrays a hopeful young dancer auditioning for a Broadway show. The unseen director (Fosse) puts her through a series of dances - Can-Can, Flamenco, Ballet, burlesque dance - only to tell her she's not 'the right type.'
