The Introduction of Mrs. Gibbs (1930)

Vaudeville comic Lulu McConnell appears in this early talkie as a loud-mouthed mother who is invited to meet her daughter's in-law-to-be, a society matron, who is taken aback as Lulu gets louder, chattier, and drunker as the afternoon progresses.
