In this program the different forms of caciquismo (authoritarian, regional leadership by one) in Mexico, from the rise of the first prehispanic societies to the latest political happenings. Throughout our history, the presence of strong leadership has always been present as an institution on the margins of the law, but until now it has always been accepted as a determining factor - for the good and, in the majority of cases, for the bad - of regional and national politics in this country.
