Damong ligaw (1997)

A confused and angry farm boy brought up under the strict and seemingly unforgiving guidance of an exacting and domineering father gains initiation to both romance and heroism during the Philippine Revolution of 1896. The period drama intertwines the account of the first days of Katipunan and the love story of an angry young revolutionary and a lovely rural maiden who is the embodiment of the turn-of the-century conservatism.
