Aglama degmez hayat (1969)

Osman is a cab driver. He lives with his friends Huseyin and Arif Baba in a dilapidated house which they can hardly pay the rent for. Osman hits a blind and homeless girl named Sevim with his car, he takes her home. He introduces Nimet, their landlady as their maid pretending that they are rich. Nimet joins the game. Osman falls in love with Sevim. By force, they take the money for Sevim's eye surgery from a coffee shop owner. Sevim regains her eyesight, however Osman and Huseyin are in jail. Sevim becomes a famous singer. She continuously looks for Osman, but cannot trace him. Osman and Huseyin get released, and Osman becomes Sevim's driver. Sevim recognizes him from his voice and attitude. They come together again.
