Larceny, lust and lethal behavior. In icebound Wichita, Kansas, it's Christmas Eve, and this year Charlie Arglist just might have something to celebrate. But the real prize for Charlie is the stunning Renata, who runs the Sweet Cage strip club. Charlie hopes to slip out of town with Renata. But as daylight fades and an ice storm whirls, everyone from Charlie's drinking buddy Pete Van Heuten to the local police begin to wonder just what exactly is in Charlie's Christmas stocking - and the 12 hours of Christmas Eve are filled with surprises.

With a woman tied to a chair, a mobster runs his hand up the inside of her thigh. Needing to distract him from seeing that her lover is sneaking up, the woman tells the mobster that she has an idea of what will help him relax. He then moves the chair around so that his crotch is near her face, but the man enters and nothing happens.
After being kicked in the crotch, we see a man with his hands down to his crotch (nothing explicit and no nudity) trying to feel his testicles that he claims are up inside his body now. He then has another man bounce him up and down to try to get them to drop. We then see him standing there with his hands down at his crotch as his pants are down, feeling for his testicles again (in his boxers, but no nudity is seen).
A woman approaches soemone in an open robe that shows her in her bra and panties, telling him, "To the victor go the spoils." They then embrace and she kisses him, but nothing else sexual happens as the scene turns violent.
There's talk of a compromising photo of a local councilman and a woman. A man later finds it and it shows the man having rear-entry intercourse with a bored-looking woman who's bent over a desk or table. We see the tops of her bare breasts (but no nipples).

A fully nude woman dances on a stage in the background of a scene (her breasts and vagina are visible). It s hard to see though if those of you have bad eyesight.

We see a flash of light through a window, we hear a muffled pop, a man goes into a house to investigate and finds a woman slumped over dead at a Christmas tree and dripping blood from a head wound. A man scares him from the stair balcony and the man slams glass on the ground.
A tortured man with a bloody cut and cut off thumb points a gun (4 quarts of blood is lost) and he has no ammo. He is shot in the chest standing for seconds until falling on the pier causing it to break and another man is shot in the stomach (luckedly after hitting the locks of the footlocker). The blood spreads on his shirt from one hole to a puddle.
A woman and a man kiss and the woman is shot in the abdomen -- the woman was holding a razor to the back of a man's neck (we see a trickle of blood).
A man finds drops and smudges of blood on a floor, he follows the trail and finds a very bloody part of a thumb squeezed in a vice (the scene is extremely short). The thumb in a wrapped tissue (blood soaked) is collected and handed to another person who throws the thumb out of the car window
A man bandages a very severe, bloody foot wound after he gets stabbed there (only lasts for seconds) until he puts his shoe on.
A dead woman with a shot-off forehead is wrapped in plastic and is put in the trunk of a car and shoved in to fit. So as a man in a footlocker is shoved to fit for disposing.
A dead man in a footlocker is pushed onto a creaky pier, the pier breaks, and another man (who cannot swim) and the footlocker fall into the water; the man shoots his gun at a man who's standing at the pier, and then another body is pushed into the water and lands on top of him, pushing him under and he eventually drowns.
A man drags another man out of a bar then kicks him in the crotch. A man punches another man in the face and knocks him to the floor. A man keeps twisting a man's arm and we hear cracking. A girl is seen with a black eye.
A man is hit by a camper that backing, he falls to the ground, but is OK. In an DVD alternative ending, a man is run over by a trailer while it backs up on him.
A woman has a black eye, we hear that her boyfriend hit her, and a man says that he will kill him if he touches her again.
A man vomits over a bridge, then hits his head hard on a traffic sign when he stands up when a cop tries to pull him over, and a man vomits in another man's car after being punched in the crotch.
After an older man runs his hand inside a stripper's inner thigh, a younger guy rushes up, grabs the old man and then pounds him repeatedly to the floor. That then prompts the bartender to rush up and whack the younger guy on the head with a bat, knocking him out.
A man hits his head on a street sign when a cop surprises him, causing him to bolt upright (thus causing the contact). He puts a tissue on his head (no blood but a little of bruise).
A fat man gets pulled by his underwear all the way out the door. The fat man said he scraped his tummy. He then gets kicked in the crotch painfully. He reacts to his crotch being hurt.
A man holds a man up and down to shake out his money of his pockets. A cop arrives and comments that if he wants to shake the money out of his pockets, he will have to be upside down first.
A man in a footlocker wants to say something. The two men puts their ears closer. (Shots ring out unexpectedly) shooting through the footlocker. in a footlocker is ordered to shut up and he hits the footlocker with a golf club until he is in silence. The two men shove the footlocker in the Mercedes and while driving for the last time the man won't be in silence so one of the man gets a gun and shoots the footlocker at his head.
Two men help carry a footlocker in an old and almost demolished pier. While helping one man carry a large foot locker case holding a man (or his dead body), a man's foot falls through the small pier they're on. The man says the pier is about to fall apart.
A man shoots a man in the face with buckshot (we see bloody wounds on his face); he falls to the floor, stabs the man who shot him in the foot (the man struggles to pull the knife out of his foot), gets off the floor, shoots a police officer in the forehead, shoves a woman back onto a sofa, and is then shot in the head (blood splatters all over the wall)

The overall tone of the movie is rather tense, as it involves characters in danger at the hands of sadistic mobsters, and have several close calls with getting caught.
Although the movie is Christmas themed, it is very dark for a Christmas movie.
The movie is very intensifying and frightening when a man is being hunted down by a mobster
Explicit violent at some points such as the lake scene, the strip club scenes
Most of the violent encounters in the film are very intense, and even disturbing, in spite of the comical nature of much of the film.
