Far from Moscow (1970)

Daleko ot Moskvy (aka...Far from Moscow) is based on the book of the same name, about the oil-pipeline construction in Russia during the Second World War. The major oil pipeline construction is going on under heavy bombings by the Nazi Air Force. The construction workers are exploited like prisoners of a labor camp. They work under dangerous conditions around-the-clock in order to deliver oil to the Armies on the front-line.
