The White Bird Passes (1980)

Based on the novel by the same, this drama set in a poverty stricken area of Aberdeenshire follows the life and times of a young girl, Janie daughter of the local prostitute who plays with her friend Gerty and visits her grandmother as well as her transition into adulthood.
